Val Thorens: Perfect for Off Piste Powder Hounds

When it comes to skiing destinations, Val Thorens comes out on top – literally. Famous for being the highest ski resort in Europe, it’s a favourite amongst seasoned experts who know full well that the higher the altitude the better the powder. While the lofty location not only offers sensational mountain views, which can be enjoyed from the terrace of your beautiful catered chalet, Val Thorens also boasts some of the best off piste runs in the three valleys region.
Although there are a multitude of off piste options for every level, from beginners to the seriously advanced, those looking for an adventure off the beaten track do so with an experienced guide and with the correct gear. When venturing into nature, you need to be prepared for all situations; carrying a transceiver (and spare batteries), a shovel, a probe, map and compass, First Aid Kit and a survival bag/blanket will ensure that you’re ready for any outcome.

So, with helmets on and boots clipped in it’s time to take to the slopes!

Lac du Lou

This is the resort’s best known run for thrill seekers, involving a 1400m vertical descent. There are two main routes down to the frozen glassy lake, starting from the Cime de Caron or from the top of Boismint.

From Cime de Caron

This is a good off-piste option for the advanced but not total expert powder hound as it’s quite well known. You’ll begin at the top and head towards the Vallon du Lou where you’ll come across a yellow sign marking the start of your off-trail journey. There is a nice variety of slopes to tackle as you make your way down the valley, until you reach the stream, which will lead you across a flat section. You’ll discover the lake from a higher level. Once you’ve reached the mirror-like surface, you’ll be able to take in the beauty of the Mont du Chat (the cat’s ears) as you turn to look back up at the Vallon du Lou.

From Boismint

This shorter route starts at a lower elevation, but don’t be fooled into thinking that it’s for the fainthearted. Its slopes are steeper than the Caron and there are no flat sections. But an afternoon session with the warm sunlight shining on the snow is a beautiful sight to see from its west facing hills.

Pierre Lory

Starting at the highest point reached by any chair in the Three Valleys, you’ll make your wary to the wide valley, traversing some pretty steep slopes on your way. From this point you’ll be able to see Col Pierre Lory, which gives its name to this itinerary. This is a fun route as most of the terrain is fairly flat with excellent snow cover, making for a smooth journey down.

With such high class trails just waiting to be explored, those looking for a thrill can spend all day in the mountains and ski straight home into their catered chalet; Val Thorens is the perfect destination for any winter adventurist.

Avoiding Male Organ Odor After Sensual Activity

Not surprisingly, men often take steps to eliminate or minimize unpleasant male organ odor before going on a date or into a situation in which sensual activity is a distinct possibility. After all, when unveiling his equipment, a man wants to be greeted with gasps of surprise and pleasure, rather than someone gasping for fresh air. Following good male organ health and hygiene guidelines helps control male organ odor before sensual activity, but men need to remember that they need to take steps afterward as well.
With that in mind, the following tips are recommended for avoiding rank male organ odor after sensual activity.

Wash up beforehand. In most cases, by the time a couple moves into the bedroom, several hours will have passed since the manhood was last washed and/or aired out. A guy knows that getting into sensual activity is going to increase the likelihood of male organ odor; after all, not only is there going to be a lot of sweating going on in the heat of the sensual moment, but the tightness of the female organ and the friction of the sensual activity is going to create more opportunity for sweat. And, while this may be a bit ungallant, the fact is that the female organ itself does not always carry an aroma of roses – and that odor is going to get transferred to the manhood.

So the name of the game is to go into the sensual activity with as little pre-existing male organ odor as possible. With that in mind, if possible, take a quick trip to the bathroom and give the member a final rinsing before commencing with the sensual activity.

Wear a latex organ covering. Clearly in any casual sensual activity engagement, a man needs to be wearing a latex organ covering for protection against disease and to reduce the risk of an unwanted pregnancy. But donning a latex organ covering also helps protect against male organ odor. It will not eliminate it entirely, but the latex organ covering will retain a great deal of the scents generated during sensual activity which otherwise would have lingered on the manhood skin.

Consider a trim. Although there is no scientific basis for this, anecdotal evidence suggests that a clean-shaven member and mid-section retains less odor than a hairy one. This is logical, as thick hair in the area catch and hold fluids which then dry and create an odor. When the area is clean-shaven, the fluids dry directly on the skin, making them easier to access and to wipe away. Speaking of which…

Clean up afterward. This is one of the most important things a man can do to help decrease post-sensual activity male organ odor. All too often, a man feels relaxed and satisfied after sensual activity, and before long that sense of contentment leads him to fall asleep. Even men who are instead invigorated by sensual activity often neglect a wash-up after sensual activity, and prefer to luxuriate in the experience. But guys do need to do a good cleaning; they don’t need to pop out of bed as soon as the deed is done, but within a reasonable amount of time, a little soap, water and drying is needed to keep things scent-free.

Use an appropriate creme. Men seeking to avoid male organ odor after sensual activity unfortunately often forget this crucial step: regularly using a superior male organ health creme (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven mild and safe for skin). There are many cremes out there, but the one that is needed will list vitamin A among its ingredients. Also called retinol, vitamin A is valuable because it has anti-bacterial properties that can fight and destroy the bacteria which help bring about rank male organ odor. The best crème will also contain a powerful antioxidant, such as alpha lipoic acid. By battling excess free radicals, alpha lipoic acid helps strengthen delicate member skin, making it better able to withstand intense washing to fight odors.

Avoiding a Sore Male Organ from a Male Chastity Cage

In general, most men like to avoid anything which can produce a sore male organ. One of the reasons a guy pays attention to good male organ care is so his member will not be sore when given the opportunity to go into action. But some men do enjoy certain sensual roles which, while they provide them with pleasure, might also result in a sore male organ. One such situation can occur when a man enjoys wearing a male chastity cage (or similarly male chastity device) around his manhood.
This presents a bit of a catch-22 situation. Many times a man who enjoys having his member bound up in a male chastity cage is also a man who prefers to engage in submissive play as well ,which again can often lead to the member and/or bsacks being manhandled or otherwise inflicted with varying degrees of pain. And indeed, one of the purposes of a chastity cage is to provide pain when the manhood becomes firm. So does a man with a chastity cage actually want to avoid a sore male organ?

The answer varies

There’s no hard and fast answer to this question, but a very general rule of thumb might be that if a man’s experience with a chastity cage is relegated to role playing, rather than to what might be termed a lifestyle choice, he is perhaps more leery of a sore male organ resulting from his experiences. In other words, if a guy likes to spend a couple of hours playing a submissive role to a partner that includes the use of a cage for a couple of hours, he is probably not in the market for a lingering sore male organ experience. On the other hand, if the man does not view his submissiveness as a role he is playing but more as an expression of who he actually is, he may be more inclined to view member pain as a welcome side effect of having his manhood imprisoned in a cage.

Avoiding a sore male organ

So assuming a sore male organ is to be avoided, what are some strategies a man should employ when indulging in limited cage play?

- Only do so with a trusted partner. This goes without saying, but role playing should only be entered into with a willing partner who is “on the same page” about rules.

- Establish keywords. The participants should decide on words to use to stop the game. Otherwise, a partner may assume that a man’s request to be removed from the cage is all part of the fun.

- Limit time in the cage. Some urologists suggest no more than 3-4 hours at one go.

- Choose the cage carefully. Some are designed specifically to produce pain or discomfort, such as those lined with little metal points or bumps.

- Beware of the weight. Although cages are relatively small, they can be relatively heavy – and that extra weight may cause some unexpected soreness.

Many people find that some degree of manhood pain helps fulfill them sensually. Experimenting with this can add to one’s sensual life, but a guy should still take steps to make sure no real damage is being done to the member.

A sore male organ, whether from a chastity cage, over-exertion or other reasons, may benefit from the regular application of a top drawer male organ health crème (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven mild and safe for skin). The best crème will include vitamin C among its ingredients. This vitamin is a key component of collagen, which gives tone and elasticity to male organ skin. The crème should also include L-arginine, an amino acid which is neuroprotective. When a sore male organ results in loss of manhood sensation, L-arginine can help restore lost sensitivity.
